Grand Theft Auto Online Glitch Brings Players Back to North Yankton (VIDEO)

A Grand Theft Auto Online glitch allows gamers to go back into the game's earliest area, North Yankton, and explore. North Yankton becomes off limits after the beginning of the game and the characters never return to that area.

CVG reports that in order to enter into the area, a gamer needs to invite a friend online to replay the prologue portion of the game. Once at a certain part of the prologue, the garage portion, they have to make a left and pause the game. From there, the other friend will have to invite the original person to the same game, which will appear as a closed session.

Within than session the gamer will have to get into a helicopter and fly to the bottom right of the map. Once there the game will start glitching out and the mountains will start floating. As the player continues, the town will appear below, from there they can land the helicopter.

CVG thinks that North Yankton being accessible in the game is proof of a future DLC that will take players back to the town otherwise the textures and details would not exist.

Grand Theft Auto 5 just released the Beach Bum DLC and now Rockstar Studios is already hinting at another DLC.

Possible upcoming story modes that can be introduced to the game include a casino heist and Yanktown. There were rumors of there being a North Yanktown in a DLC, but it was revealed as a hoax a few weeks ago, reports IBTimes.

However, the game having a casino heist is a possibility and even hinted at during the game. There is a casino in Vinewood Park with a sign that reads "Opening Soon." Gamers speculate that the banner is a subtle hint to a DLC that will open it.

Grand Theft Auto DLC "Beach Bum" as well as the 1.06 update to fix online bugs and add online features was released three weeks ago.

The patch included different hairstyles, clothing options, and an option of new tattoos as well as new missions, according to Inquisit. Another DLC from Rockstar Studios will allow the gamer to create their own online missions. The DLCs are available for free.

The 1.06 update fixed a host of problems and exploits, reported Polygon. Some of the fixes included: the deletion of personal vehicles when adding trackers and insurance, the camera stuck on aerial view when entering GTA Online, menu malfunctions, missions that were completed starting over by themselves, and cloud based memory errors as well as other patches.
