'Grey's Anatomy' Season 10 Spoilers: 3 Characters to Exit in 'Catastrophic' Finale
"Grey's Anatomy" fans knew at the beginning of season 10 that Sandra Oh (Cristina Yang) was leaving Grey Sloan Memorial for good, but two other characters are also leaving the series this year.
ABC's medical drama is winding down to the season 10 finale, and more information has come to light about what the last episode has in store. Oh has portrayed Cristina since the first season of "Grey's," but will appear in her final episode on the finale May 15. However, the season finale will also mark both Shane (Gaius Charles) and Leah's (Tessa Ferrer) last appearance.
Charles and Ferrer "are not getting their contracts picked up for next season," according to Deadline. It is unknown if the actors are leaving the show voluntarily, or if their characters may recur or guest-star in season 11. Their departure marks the first time in"Grey's" history that two series regulars leave after just one season.

Meanwhile, "Grey's" is known for its disastrous season finales; and season 10 will be no exception. According to recent reports, there will be a possible terrorist incident in Seattle, resulting in a flood of casualties to Grey Sloan Memorial. Further proof of a disastrous season finale was released in a first look at the May 15 episode featuring Stephanie tending to one of the victims in the closer.
"There will be a catastrophe in the finale," TV Line reported along with the photo from the finale.
Nevertheless, while Cristina's exit is sure to be emotional, the character does not die in the season finale.
This week's installment is entitled "Change of Heart." The synopsis is as follows: "The doctors receive bad news from Jackson. Meanwhile, Amelia arrives in Seattle for an unexpected visit; Richard heads to Boston to surprise Catherine; and Bailey makes a bold decision after growing disappointed with the lack of progress in her research."
