Grey's Anatomy Season 10 Spoilers: 4 Characters Safe in Finale, Actors Ink Deal for Season 11 and 12
"Grey's Anatomy" season 10 is rapidly coming to an end with just one last episode this Thursday before the season finale next week.
This week's installment is entitled "Everything I Try to Do, Nothing Seems to Turn Out Right." The title has fans wondering if it applies to "Grey's" character Cristina Yang, or if another beloved character is leaving the television series this season. Sandra Oh announced that she is exiting the television series this year before season 10 even premiered, with her character Cristina Yang leaving Grey Sloan Memorial for good as well. However, reports this week revealed the fates of other "Grey's" characters as well, since four actors just inked brand-new deals with the showrunners for the upcoming 11th season.
The four "Grey's" regulars to recently sign new contract with the television series include Justin Chambers, Sara Remirez, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens Jr., according to Cosmopolitan magazine. The actors portray characters Alex Karev, Dr. Callie Torres, Dr. Miranda Bailey and Richard Webber, respectively.

In signing the new contract, the actors have not just ensured that they will appear in season 11, but season 12 as well, as long as ABC renews the television series accordingly. The new contract also guarantees that their characters will be safe in the highly-anticipated "explosive" season finale next week.
"Grey's" is known for its disastrous season finales; and season 10 will be no exception. According to recent reports, there will be a possible terrorist incident in Seattle, resulting in a flood of casualties to Grey Sloan Memorial. Further proof of a disastrous season finale was released in a first look at the May 15 episode featuring Stephanie tending to one of the victims in the closer.
"There will be a catastrophe in the finale," TV Line reported along with the photo.
Meanwhile, it was previously reported that "Grey's" leading actors main cast members Ellen Pompeo (Meredith Grey) and Patrick Dempsey (Derek Shepherd) recently signed new two-year deals to stay on the medical drama series. And while Oh is leaving the television series, her character Cristina will not be killed off.
"Grey's Anatomy" airs on ABC Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST. The finale of "Grey's" is set to air May 15 and is entitled "Fear (of the Unknown)."
