'Grey's Anatomy' Season 11 Spoilers: Shonda Rhimes Previews Alex and Joe's Relationship
"Grey's Anatomy" season 11 will not premiere until the fall, but series creator Shonda Rhimes is sharing a few clues about what the brand new season will reveal.
Fans of ABC's hit medical drama are already wondering about what season 11 has in store for some of their favorite characters, such as couples Jackson and April and Jo and Alex. As previously reported, the season 11 premiere will pick up less than one day after where fans were left during last season's finale. Consequently, Rhimes revealed that Alex's relationship with Jo is lower down on the totem pole.
"Alex and Jo are in an interesting place – thought I don't know if I would talk about them in terms of their relationship just yet, just because that's not really the focus at the moment," the creator told TVLine. "Cristina has left him these shares and a seat on the board and what that means is complex. Does he want that? Is that what he's looking for? Did we want the money grab that [private practice] provided him, or does he want to be the guy who has a seat on the board? It's a big deal for him to figure out what he wants."
