He happens to be a musician, which is one reason why fans are expecting a lot of drama in his character as he enters the lives of doctors who each have their own issues to fix.

Meanwhile, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) is said to put a pause on her budding relationship with Dr. Thorpe (Scott Elrod), following the events that led to their disastrous date.

In Thursday's episode, fans saw clearly how Mer's life is still greatly affected by Derek's (Patrick Dempsey) loss. While she was able to smile and laugh with her date, she realized in the morning that she's not yet ready after all two years of losing her husband.

It is unclear how Mer will handle her romantic issues and how Dr. Thorpe will react if ever Meredith tells him that they should stop seeing each other. On the other hand, some fans predict that man will understand Mer's sentiments and will wait for her to open up her heart wholly for a serious relationship.

Also in the upcoming episode, Meredith will get on board an ambulance to pick up a heart for a patient who needs a transplant. The big problem is, she will be with two feuding guys who won't back down on a fist fight: Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Riggs (Martin Henderson). Fans will have to watch out for a possible match between the two as Mer is expected to intervene when the two decide to butt heads again.

Finally, there's the cliffhanger on Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April's (Sarah Drew) story that could possibly be further explained soon. Catherine (Debbie Allen) will start meddling in the romance and viewers will have to see if her intervention will either break up the two for good or allow them to rekindle their love.

"Grey's Anatomy" airs every Thursday on ABC.
