'Grey's Anatomy' Season 12 Episode 9 Spoilers: Someone Attacks Meredith; Fresh Details on Episode 11
The most awaited return of ABC's hit medical drama TV series "Grey's Anatomy" is finally here as Season 12B premieres this week with an episode that will find Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) caught in a quite drastic situation. Meanwhile, details of an up and coming episode have come out online.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode called "The Sound of Silence," Mer will be brutally attacked by a patient.
A series of teaser videos revealed just how bad the situation gets for the good doctor. Why the man decided to attack Mer is still unknown. However, it appears that the perpetrator might have had the intention of killing her. The next scenes show the victim lying on her stomach, gasping for air.
Thankfully, Penny (Samantha Sloyan) discovers her colleague and called the attention of everyone concerned at Grey Sloan Memorial. The doctors rush to stabilize Meredith. Despite the critical moment, there are still some issues which the medical professionals have to face even as they set out to deal with the emergency.
Another promo video hinted that it may take some time before they can get into saving Meredith. Dr. Webber (James Pickens, Jr.) interrupted the procedure, telling Maggie (Kelly McCreary) that she can't operate on Meredith as she is family.
"Everybody in this d*** room is her family!" Alex (Justin Chambers) erupted. Will the doctors be able to resolve this issue before everything is too late?
In related news, Entertainment Weekly shared an exciting announcement that an episode in Season 12 will hit the rewind button and will further reveal what really happened in Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April's (Sarah Drew) relationship. Set to air this Feb. 25, the episode will reportedly feature flashback scenes of the couple throughout the series, including the very first time they met each other.
The "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 winter premiere airs this Thursday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
