'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' Spoilers: A Different Peter Quill; New Characters To Be Introduced
The upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is expected to show Peter Quill in a different light, compared to that in the previous film.
It was revealed that the main character of the film, Peter Quill, played by Chris Pratt, will be portrayed in a different way now that he is a leader. However, fans can expect that even though he has more responsibilities now, Quill will continue with his quirky personality.
Screen Rant recently had an interview with the actor, who was able to share some details about how he himself had a fun time on the set. He stated, "Yeah, we were, I was given freedom to just go for it and do a lot of different things, we had a lot of fun. I think the first cut of this movie was like five hours long so they got it down to the perfect time of I think two hours and a minute and in that time there is so much movie happening, so much story being told, visually it's just a masterpiece."
Along with Pratt, there are speculations that the upcoming film will feature new characters. Reports by WhatCulture revealed that the director of the film James Gunn made some comments that clarified the speculations.

Gunn stated that he is looking forward to bringing in new characters that will further the story along. However, there will not be a lot of new additions to the roster. With that, he also explained that he would rather delve deeper into the characters that were introduced in the previous installment.
He stated, "Listen, one of the main things with Guardians Of The Galaxy is not to add a bunch of characters, not to make it bigger in that way but to go deeper with the characters. We'll get to know some of the characters a little bit more and then we're going to meet a couple of new characters who will be very important to Guardians movies and probably important to the Marvel Universe as a whole."
"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is slated for release on May 5, 2017.
