'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' Spoilers: More Focus on Gamora and Nebula

Gamora and Nebula are expected to take the limelight in the upcoming Marvel movie "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2."

After a successful first installment, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" franchise has already started working on its sequel. It was revealed that the sequel will set focus on the relationship of Gamora and Nebula.

The previous movie saw Karen Gillan take on the role of Nebula, who is the daughter of Thanos. With that, she was joined by Zoe Saldana, who portrayed Nebula's sister named Gamora. According to Comic Book, Gillan recently shared some details about the upcoming film.

She said, "I've read the script. I haven't talked to anyone about it, which is, frankly, really frustrating, because I want to talk to everyone about it, but I can't. I just know it's going to be really brilliant, and I feel like everyone is going to like it."

It was confirmed that Saldana will also be returning to the movie. The actress recently posted a tweet on her official Twitter account that teased her return to the franchise. The post included photos of her getting back to her costume with the caption, "Ready for another one? #guardiansofthegalaxy #gamora #scifi #Marvel."

With the script already done, the director of the film James Gunn addressed some issues regarding spoilers for the upcoming film. According to Gamespot, he stated, "I got in this business because I love movies, and I think most film journalists are the same way. And spoiling plot details doesn't add to the enjoyment of the film-going experience. We're creating a film that doesn't rely on plot twists to be an enjoyable experience. They're only a very small part of what we're cooking up for you."

It was reported that "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will be released in theaters in 2017.
