Halle Berry Gives Birth: Actress, Olivier Martinez Welcome Baby Boy
Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez welcomed the birth of a baby boy in Los Angeles on Saturday, a rep for the actress confirmed.
The Academy award-winning actress, 47, gave birth to the newborn, whose name is yet to be released publicly, at L.A.'s Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Martinez, 47, was reportedly present for the birth of his son as was Berry's 5-year-old daughter Nahla, from a previous relationship.
"Olivier hasn't left Halle's side. Nahla visited her baby brother earlier today," a source told People magazine.

The baby news comes three months after Berry and Martinez tied the knot in France before family and friends. Berry first began dating Martinez in 2010 just months after ending her 4-year relationship with Canadian model, Gabriel Aubry, 38.
The couple, who met on the set of "Dark Tide," announced their engagement in 2012.
"She has called him 'The One,' " Sophie Dulac, president of the Champs-Elysées Film Festival, reportedly said. "She's said she never expected to meet this Frenchman, to fall in love like she has."
Berry was previously married to baseball player David Justice in the early 1990s and to singer Eric Benét in the early 2000s. Martinez reportedly changed her views on marriage.
"[Halle] had given up on being married, but she trusts Olivier. He makes her feel safe. He's a keeper!" a source previously told Us magazine regarding the couple's engagement.
In a 2010 interview with talk show host Wendy Williams, Berry remained coy about the prospect of having another child.
"That's the thing. [My daughter is] asking me. Every night we pray to God, and she's so sweet. She says, 'God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.' And I say, 'I can do one of those things, I know for sure! The other one we have to keep praying on,'" Berry said.
"What do you say to her when she wants that and can't understand why God's taking so long, you know?" she added.
In June, Martinez was asked about his plans for fatherhood at the opening night of the Champs-Elysées Film Festival, and his response confirmed the sex of his then unborn baby.
"My son will be an American, but I remain French," Martinez said.
