Hank Williams Jr. Slams Obama for Being 'Muslim' and 'Hating America'

American country music star Hank Williams Jr. is coming under fire again for comments he made about President Obama while he was performing a concert the Iowa State Fair. He called the President a Muslim who hates America.

According to local reports the comments came during the end of the concert when Hank Williams Jr. decided to reignite the debate about whether the president is a Muslim and using that claim to state that the president hates America.

"We've got a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the U.S. and we hate him," Williams Jr. was quoted as saying according The Des Moines Register.

Local reports also indicate that the comments were met with loud cheers and clapping after Williams Jr. made the remarks after finishing the song "We Don't Apologize for America." It led the crowd to break into a chant of "USA! USA!" in the state that will be very crucial in the 2012 election.

This is not the first time that Williams Jr. has made controversial comments about the President. In 2011, he was that subject of ridicule after he compared the president to Adolf Hitler during an interview on Fox.

As a consequence for his remarks, ESPN was forced to pull his song from Monday Night Football, which had been the theme song for the sports show for more than two decades.

In July of this year during an interview with Rolling Stone, the country signer once again lashed out at the president.

"We've got a President that does a call to the Koran or Mecca or whatever," he told Rolling Stone.

When asked if he thought the president hated America, Williams Jr. responded, "I don't know about that but it's kind of obvious. I guess when you take a tour, a world tour, to apologize for America."
