The 65-year-old an American film producer co-founded Miramax, which produced several box office hits including "Pulp Fiction" and "Clerks." He has an Academy Award for producing Shakespeare in Love and is also an honorary knight of the Order of the British Empire for his contributions to the British film industry.
The producer is currently worth around $200 million and is considered one of the most powerful men in Hollywood. He sold Miramax to Disney in 1993 for $80 million.

Weinstein has been married to English fashion designer and actress Georgina Chapman since 2007. Together they have two children, a son and a daughter.
All his wealth and power were not enough, however, when the allegations of sexual harassment came for Weinstein. The alleged harassment happened across several decades to several women, including "Divergent" actress Ashley Judd, whose story was published in the New York Times.
Judd, 49, recalled one incident in which she expected to discuss business with Weinstein, 65, but instead, was summoned to his hotel room. She claimed that Weinstein, in his bathrobe, asked if she could give him a massage and if she was willing to watch him take a shower. According to Judd, the only thing that she could think at the time was, "How do I get out of the room as fast as possible without alienating Harvey Weinstein?"
Judd's allegations were just one of the many allegations that have been thrown on Weinstein in the past few days. And he has been paying for it and shown with his recent ousting from his company following the report by the New York Times.
