'Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie' News, Release Date: Nickelodeon Drops New Super Trailer; More Seasons in Store?
Nickelodeon has released an exclusive super trailer for "Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie," which follows the titular character in his search for his lost parents.
"Hey Arnold!" has been off the air for more than a decade, ending in 2004 after five seasons. As long-time fans of the show know, Arnold became orphaned when he was just a baby after his parents disappeared in San Lorenzo. But the series finale of the show saw Arnold discovering a map, which may lead him to his parents.
The trailer reveals that Arnold's whole class will be flying to San Lorenzo, and Gerald points out to his football-headed best friend that it is fate. While Arnold's grandfather cautions him that the trip is not an excuse for him to look for his parents, it is clear that he intends on doing just that.

Arnold and all his friends, including Helga's older sister, Olga, will be traveling through the jungle, facing all of the dangers that come with it. They will be riding boats, discovering ruins, falling off bridges, and avoiding enemies.
While the movie is expected to answer some lingering questions, it is also designed to jumpstart another season of the series.
"It's resolution but not closure," voice actress Olivia Hack, who plays Rhonda, told Polygon at the New York Comic Con. "Our goal is to go to series after this. We're hoping that's what happens."
With so many shows getting the revival treatment, Nickelodeon hopes to bank on the trend of nostalgia and bring back the show for more seasons. Creator Craig Bartlett even teased what future storylines will entail.
"[In season six] they would be in sixth grade and so on, and we would just watch them grow," Bartlett said. "Maybe eventually they'd even become teenagers."
"Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie" will premiere on Nov. 24 on Nickelodeon.
