'Point of no return': 5 reactions to rioters hunting down, attacking Israelis in Amsterdam
Emily Schrader
On Friday, Journalist Emily Schrader shared screenshots published by the Dutch current affairs website GeenStijl that appear to show anti-Israel activists planning an attack against Jews in Amsterdam. Through various social media apps, including WhatsApp and Telegram, activists discussed plans for going on a “Jew hunt.”
Schrader also highlighted the PGNL, which translates to Palestinian Community in the Netherlands. The activist group had organized a protest against Israel, relocating to the soccer stadium after their initial activity was canceled. PGNL shared a video on its Instagram page that shows a group of men forcing their way into a building, writing in the post: “Viva intifada viva Palestine.”
In another screenshot Schrader shared on Friday, the reporter noted that Israel had warned the Dutch police about a plan to attack Israeli citizens attending the soccer game.
