'House of Cards' Season 4 Release Date Finally Announced for Fans
"House of Cards" season 4's premiere date has finally been announced by Netflix in the middle of a GOP debate hosted by CNN.
In a Twitter statement posted by the official account of "House of Cards," the premiere date of season 4 was revealed to be on Mar. 4, 2016. Kevin Spacey, who plays President Frank Underwood in the series, appeared in one of the commercials in the middle of the GOP debate on CNN for the announcement, according to E! Online.
The Twitter announcement on Dec. 15 caused pandemonium to break out among fans. Although Spacey's commercial did not reveal the premiere date, a promotional photo shows President Underwood accompanied by the hashtag #FU2016, Realty Today reports.

"BREAKING NEWS: President Underwood will be making a special announcement tonight during the #GOPDebate," E! quotes the announcement on the official "House of Cards" Twitter page.
In the previous season, Claire (Robin Wright) left Frank after a series of trials shook up their marriage. Season 4 will feature Neve Campbell from "Party of Five" in a still unconfirmed role, the report details.
This is not the first time that Netflix announced the premiere date of "House of Cards" via Twitter. However, season 3 episodes were leaked a few weeks ahead before they were slated to air. Producers were able to remove the leaked videos and they explained that a "glitch" was behind the unintended sneak peek, the report relays.
To prevent the season 4 leaks from happening, the producers have taken steps to ensure that details on the upcoming installment of the series will be released only on the premiere date, the report adds.
Meanwhile, Spacey and Wright have both bagged Golden Globe Awards for their respective roles. Director David Flincher also clinched an Emmy award for the successful series.
"House of Cards" will be back for season 4 on Mar. 4, 2016 on Netflix.
