'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 2 News: Show Boss Teases 'Really Broken' Annalise; Episode 10 Synopsis Revealed

There are only a handful of days left before ABC's hit drama TV series "How To Get Away With Murder" returns to the airwaves for the second half of Season 2 and fans are already hankering for any updates about the show.

In an interview, executive producer Pete Nowalk told TVLine a great deal about Season 2B. According to him, viewers will see a very different Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) who recently had a brush with death during the first half of the current season.

"We left her bleeding out on the floor — and when we come back, she's really broken," the EP told the media outlet. "It was really important to Viola and to me to play the reality of that — of a person who's gone through a major life trauma. We're going to see a whole different side of her."

Nowalk further unraveled more details on Annalise's strained relationship with her attacker, Wes (Alfred Enoch).

"We've set up a lot of mysteries about how Annalise knows Wes, what their past is, why she feels so maternal toward him. All of that will be elaborated on in our back six episodes," the show boss went on to reveal.

The showrunner added that more than revealing their backstory together, the succeeding episodes will also help answer a "really big question" about the law professor and practitioner.

For those who missed it, the fall finale episode revealed that Annalise and Eve (Famke Janssen) knew Wes, who was then called Christophe, when he was still a child.

"How To Get Away With Murder" Season 2B premieres with the episode titled "What Happened To You, Annalise?" on Thursday, Feb. 11.

According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic, Wes, together with the Keating 5, will deal with the consequences of the shooting incident. Meanwhile, Annalise will encounter some complications as she trudges on the road to recovery.

Stay tuned for more updates.
