HTC One 2 Release Event Scheduled for March 25, Official Name Revealed
The HTC One 2 release event will take place on March 25.
The unveiling will be held at a dual event in New York and London as invitations for it were sent out earlier this week.
Reliable leaker @evleaks also revealed the name for the device as the company will brand it "The All New HTC One." This could be a marketing tagline that will later be changed to just HTC One or HTC One 2014. The two rumored names including the HTC One 2 and the HTC One Plus can now be eliminated from the fold.

The device is expected to launch in gray, silver and gold, according to this report.
The first clear press shot of the device was also leaked by @evleaks and shows off the gold model from front back and side angles.
The new HTC One is rumored to feature a 5-inch display with Full HD resolution, a Snapdragon 800 processor and a dual-lens camera that has been discussed in more detail in past leaks.
A screenshot of the homescreen for the upcoming HTC handset also surfaced this month through @evleaks. It displayed on-screen buttons and a few new design tweaks that incorporate the latest version of Android 4.4 KitKat.
The screenshot reveals a new on-screen navigation bar and buttons. HTC is expected to ditch its capacitive buttons and the picture points to this becoming a reality. The device used transparency for the dock background with the entire theme being lighter and more cheerful.
The new HTC One will go up against the Samsung's Galaxy S5 and the iPhone 6 which are also expected to be released later this year with the S5 arriving in the Spring and the iPhone hitting stores in the fall.
