HTC One On Sale for $49.99 on Amazon

The HTC One is now on sale through Amazon for just $49.99.

The website is now offering both the AT&T and Sprint versions of the device for nearly one fourth of the regular price with a new two-year contract. Both new and existing customers will have to prove that they are adding a new line to their account in order to purchase the smartphone at this price. Those looking to update their current handset will have to pay $99.99 to purchase the HTC One on contract.

The deal applies to both the silver and black versions of the smartphone. Only the 32GB version will sell for a reduced price. The 64GB version is currently available through AT&T at its normal amount.

The Android 4.3, JellyBean update was recently spotted on the HTC One Google Edition at Bluetooth SIG. The pure Android version of the device was released last month.

The documentation discovered revealed a device with the model number HTC PN071xx_Android 4.3_G. The PN071 means it is an HTC One and the G describes that it is the Google Play edition, according to Android Authority. The Android 4.3 mentioned at the end of model number reveals that the new software is running on the device.

The Bluetooth SIG documentation points to the HTC PN071xx_Android 4.3_G being upgraded to 3.05.1700, once Android 4.3 is released.
