Huawei Mate 8: Phablet Slams Samsung's Galaxy Note 5
In a competition where the best of the best is the basis in almost all aspects, Huawei isn't slowing down as it has recently announced the coming of a phablet that Forbes says will definitely embarrass Samsung's mass-favorite: the Galaxy Note 5.
The Nexus 6P has just received some quite remarkable reviews from users who are fond of the seventh-generation phone that isn't like any other Nexus handset ever released in the market. With another almost equally amazing handset from Huawei, the fanbase just may expand even more.
With a six-inch screen that many users have asked for, the Chinese manufacturer surely isn't lagging behind Samsung and Apple. Although the phablet may be lacking in a few pixels as it only comes with a 1080 x 1920 HD resolution, Forbes says the decision apparently plays a huge role in saving battery life.

Also, the small bezels create an illusion of a larger screen, which makes up for the smaller amount of pixels compared to other smartphones.
It is only reasonable that Huawei decided to run the new phablet with the Kirin 950 as it has become the hottest item in the market for the past few months. The octa-core processor features an i5 Sensing Co-processor that allows the phablet to work on normal activities daily while keeping the chipset on low power.
While the Mate 8 comes with Android's V6.0 Marshmallow, it also sports a new software called the EmotionUI that promises a new and improved user experience for the many consumers who have been requesting for a phone that saves power while working on multiple duties.
Other outlets believe that the new handset is way smarter than Samsung's Note 5 but it also poses a threat to the Nexus 6P. The Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge are obviously the two phones that will most likely be compared with Huawei's phab, but some experts think another battle between two Huawei handsets could be brewing when statistics will reveal the figures.
