Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 Cleared By FCC; Specs Include 10-Inch Display, 3 GB of RAM, 13MP Camera
Good news for those who looking for a new tablet. Huawei is gearing up to launch a new model called the MediaPad M2 10.0. Those who are interested to take hold of it may be able to get it soon as reports say that the device is already making some progress.
According to Phone Arena, the Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 has already been cleared by the FCC, which means that a U.S. launch is imminent. The tablet was first announced during the CES 2016 event and it's made particularly for entertainment and media consumption.
Ubergizmo detailed that it will come with a 10-inch IPS LCD display just as its name suggests and it will have a resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. Customers can expect two variants, with one carrying 3 GB of RAM with 64 GB of expandable internal memory, and the other one with 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB of expandable native storage. The larger RAM variant is offered in gold while the smaller one will be in silver.

One can also find a HiSilicon octa-core Kirin 930 processor under the hood. And as noted in Mobile Burn, it will have 4 Cortex A53 cores running at 2GHz and 4 Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1GHz. As for the camera specs, the device features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Giving it life and power is a 6,600 mAh battery.
As noted in Android Headlines, the device is equipped with speakers enhanced with Harman Kardon technologies. A fingerprint scanner is also featured for easy unlocking of the device. There will also be an M-Pen active stylus but it will be available only for the 64 GB variant.
The device is expected to arrive sometime in the current quarter. As for the pricing, the tablet is expected to have a starting price of $349 for the 16 GB variant and $419 for the 64 GB Wi-Fi variant.
