Hulk Hogan Divorce Settlement Revealed

Semi-retired professional wrestler Hulk Hogan didn't fair very well in his highly publicized 2009 divorce from Linda Bollea.

Hogan's ex-wife received a little more than 70 percent of the couple's liquid assets in addition to a 40 percent ownership in Hogan's various companies, according to recent court filings that were obtained by the St. Petersburg Times.

Of the couple's $10.41 million that was held in bank and investment accounts, Bollea received $7.44 million while Hogan got the remaining $2.97 million. She also got to keep some of the couple's vehicles, which include a Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac Escalade, Corvette and Rolls-Royce.

Although Hogan does not have to pay alimony, he must pay Bollea a $3 million property settlement from the selling of their two Pinellas County homes.

After a 24-year marriage and two children, Bollea announced she was filing for divorce from Hogan back in 2007 following the family's appearance on the MTV reality show, Hogan Knows Best, where the deterioration of the marriage became evident as the show progressed.

Less than a year later, Hogan's 17-year-old son Nick became embroiled in his own legal battles after he crashed his car in a speeding accident that left his friend and passenger, John Graziano, critically injured. The Graziano family filed a civil suit against Hogan for the 24-hour-a-day care their son would need, which was later settled confidentially.

In addition, Bollea made headlines not too long after when she began dating 19-year-old Charlie Hill, a man 29 years her junior who went to the same high school as her children and was a grade below her daughter, Brooke. The family strongly disapproved of the relationship, particularly her daughter.

Hogan also moved on from the divorce, marrying 35-year-old Jennifer McDaniel 2010, whom many have said bears a striking resemblance to Bollea.

Earlier this year, Bollea also released a memoir entitled "Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes," in which she detailed a tumultuous relationship with Hogan that at times turned violent.

She wrote, "[Hulk] tore my shirt. He threw lamps. He held me down on the bed with his hands around my throat during arguments, slamming doors, pounding walls. I was always afraid he would kill me in one of his rages."
