Ice Cream Sandwich Release Date: OfficeSuite Pro 5 Offered Free on Amazon
The OfficeSuite Professional 5 application for Android is offered free on Amazon.com today.
This application allows a user to create, view, edit and share Word, Excel and PowerPoint files.
OfficeSuite Pro 5 has a slick file browser, provides the user with Google Docs integration and a two-pane user interface optimization for Honeycomb tablets.

The application’s Market website said it is the only “mobile office for Android that allows opening of password protected” files.
This application comes pre-installed in over 20 million devices, according to 9to5Google.
OfficeSuite 5’s new features include a redesigned user interface, shortcuts to recent files and my documents, filters in the file browser to help users access files from selected format, and new toolbars for the file browser, document and spreadsheet modules.
It also includes an email reader module allowing users to work on EML files. It is likely that this application will be optimized on the Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
Ice Cream Sandwich will be available as an update for users who own Android smartphones in the coming months. The software will launch on the Galaxy Nexus smartphone.
Samsung and Google announced the operating system and the handset for a November launch. The Galaxy Nexus is also expected to drop in the United Kingdom on Nov. 16.
