Charlie Tillotson of Sidmouth, England is sweeping the internet after a compassionate act of kindness this week.

After learning about children who were battling cancer, Tillotson selflessly decided to chop her long blonde hair in order to donate it, according to reports this week. The 6-year-old donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust, an organization that creates wigs for young cancer patients.

"I can say no more, this is my daughter Charlie," Tillotson's father, Steve Tillotson, wrote on a fundraising page about his daughter. "She has told me today that she wants to have all her hair cut off for children with cancer. She has her heart set on raising 600 pounds (she originally wanted to raise ten hundred pounds) and donating the hair so it can be made into a wig."

"I will have to make this happen for her as she has always wanted it to grow as long as Rapunzel," the proud father added. "As she has always vowed that she would never have it cut, and she is very passionate about this."

Tillotson is not stopping at just donating hair though. The young girl is also campaigning on JustGiving.com for funds to go to Children with Cancer UK- the leading national charity dedicated to children's battles against cancer.

"Charlie wants to raise money for children with cancer," the website reads. "Charlie will have her hair cut for Children with Cancer UK because some children [lose their hair] during treatment."

The Little Princess Trust is similar to organizations such as Locks of Love that also accept donations for cancer patients. Tillotson's compassion is making waves online, with many readers donating to the cause and praising Tillotson.

"Brave girl," one JustGiving user wrote. "Keep it that way and your life will be truly amazing. All the best!"

"You're amazing, well done and your new haircut is fantastic," another reader wrote.
