Intex FitRist Fitness Band Launched, Priced at Rs. 999

India-based electronics company Intex has finally launched its latest fitness band called FitRist in its home country. According to IBN Live, the fitness smart band is priced at Rs. 999 (approximately $15) and is exclusively available on online retail website Snapdeal. This is not the first fitness band product of Intex though as the first one was dubbed the iRist smartwatch.

As for its specs and features, the affordable FitRist comes with a vertical 0.86-inch OLED curved display with 96 x 32 pixel screen resolution. It is packed with different health and fitness features including distance measurement, sleep monitoring, calorie count and step monitoring. The device is basically designed with proficiency in performing various tasks that can help the user track his or her health and more. However, it does not come with a heart rate sensor.

International Business Times also detailed that the FitRist is water-resistant and connects with iOS (version iOS 7 and above) and Android (version 4.3 and above) smartphones through Bluetooth. Through it, the device can alert users if there are any notifications such as mails, messages and even calls. Users can also control music tracks with its syncing capability. Aside from that, it can help in locating the smartphone.
