iOS 7.0.6 Release Compromises Jailbreak, How to Fix
Apple recently released its iOS 7.0.6 software update for its devices, however, some users may have realized that the update compromises the popular Evasi0n7 jailbreak tool.
The new update brings minor security tweaks to iOS devices that seem to affect the jailbreak system. However, a solution to this issue has already been published by AppAdvice.com.
The site details that in order to correct this issue users must download a Hex utility to bring Evasion7 back in line with the latest version of the operating system. New custom versions of Evasi0n7 compatible with the update are also being uploaded to the net through sites such as iDownloadBlog.

One of the writers wrote a short message to reassure those downloading the new Evasi0n7 that what he released is legitimate.
"You can rest-assured that this file is fine," he said. "It was downloaded directly from evasion.com and hand-editied by yours truly with Hex Fiend, a hex editing utility for OS X."
Jailbreakers looking to use any version of Evasion7 must first install a fresh IPSW onto the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes.
iOS 7.0.6 protects the software from being violated by attackers that can capture or modify data in sessions protected by SSL/TLS. It was released three weeks after the previous build, iOS 7.0.5 and is only available to the iPhone 4 and later. Previous devices such as the iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 4th generation model can download up to iOS 6.1.6.
iOS 7.1 is expected to debut sometime in the spring and will feature some more significant updates.
It is said to include user-interface tweaks in the Phone app, an improved Calendar app, speed improvements, and numerous bug-fixes. The software is expected to begin rolling out next month, according to the latest reports.
