There are plenty of smartphone owners out there who have an upgrade available and wish to purchase a new iPhone. The iPhone 4S sports a 3.5-inch display that is exactly the same as the iPhone 4. Apple enthusiasts enjoy the size of the current iPhone since it still keeps the device at a good size for keeping in a pocket without discomfort. However, for those looking for a larger screen, it might be worth waiting for the next-gen iPhone as that device is rumored to have a screen that is at least 4-inches. It also should make the jump to HD in order to better compete with Android devices and match up to the new iPad.

3G Vs. 4G LTE

Some tech sites are writing 4G LTE off as if it is not a significant change to jump to this from 3G. 4G LTE is around 10 times faster than 3G. Using it in an area that supports it creates a lightning fast experience with the internet on any smartphone and tablet. The difference between 3G and 4G LTE is more than just noticeable. LTE rivals the speeds of Wi-Fi. If you want the best experience on a smartphone possible wait for the next-gen iPhone that will be LTE.

Siri

The iPhone 4S brought the artificial intelligence system known as Siri with it upon its release last year. However, the system has not yet reached its full potential as the version included on the 4S is only a BETA. The next iPhone should include a much more advanced version of Siri.

Quad-Core Processor?

The new iPad was rumored to be including Apple's quad-core A6 processing chip, but ended up being released with the A5X dual-core chip instead. It could be possible that Apple is waiting for the iPhone to include the A6, but that seems highly unlikely. If the new iPhone ends up having a quad-core processor, then it would be well worth the wait. The combination of an A6 chip and LTE would be incredible.
