iPhone 5 Will Not Release on T-Mobile Network in 2011
According to a network executive, T-Mobile will be the only major carrier not releasing the iPhone 5 in 2011.
TmoNews released a transcript on Tuesday of a T-Mobile internal Town Hall meeting that took place on September 15. At the meeting, Chief Marketing Officer Cole Brodman was reportedly quoted as saying, "We are not going to get the iPhone 5 this year.”
Thus far, rumors indicate that the iPhone 5 will be released sometime in October. The dates, October 7, October 12, October 15 and October 21 have previously been considered.

Apple is reportedly hosting a conference on October 4 where new CEO Tim Cook will finally divulge the release date of the iPhone 5.
Commentators now speculate that T-Mobile not releasing the iPhone 5 in conjunction with other carriers does not mean than the network won't be carrying the smartphone at all.
"There is a lot of ways to interpret his statement but one thing seems certain, no iPhone 5 for T-Mobile anytime before midnight on December 31st," TmoNews wrote.
Some rumors also say that the iPhone 5 will not be released at all until 2012 due to production delays.
Most rumors about the iPhone 5 have not been confirmed, but will most likely be at the October 4 conference.
Currently, the iPhone 5 is expected to have various specs such as an iOS 5 upgrade, possible 4G capabilities and a high-resolution 8MP camera.
It is rumored that the Sprint network will be carrying the iPhone 5.
Other speculation indicates that the iPhone 5 will be fairly affordable and may be priced within the same range as the current iPhone 4.
There also remains a possibility that Apple will release two iPhones in the fall, one successor to the iPhone 4 and another cheaper prepaid model.
