iPhone 6 Release Rumors: Qualcomm Chip to be Included
With little to no information being confirmed by Apple regarding the iPhone 5, an insider at the company recently leaked news to the New York Times on the iPhone 6.
Apple will eventually get around to releasing the 6th generation iPhone, and when that time comes, the device is expected to include a Qualcomm chip.
This chip which will be made by Qualcomm for the iPhone, will include near-field communication technology, known as N.F.C.

N.F.C. is capable of making everyday activities like paying a bill, or getting in and out of a building as easy as waving your smartphone over a reader.
RIM is also planning to implement this technology in its Blackberry smartphones.
If N.F.C. hits the way some tech experts are anticipating it to, than consumers will no longer need to carry cash or credits since they can pay for things by simply using their smartphone.
N.F.C. will give any device using it the ability to swap business cards and exchange music or photos wirelessly.
As of right now no official plans have been announced regarding the iPhone 6.
The insider also reported that the Qualcomm chip which will make the iPhone N.F.C. ready may come even sooner.
The iPhone 5 may include this chip and feature, but if not it will definitely be included in the iPhone 6.
The iPhone 5 is rumored to be unveiled by Apple in the next few weeks, but the company has mostly remained quiet regarding the device.
It is supposed to sport a larger screen than the iPhone 4 along with an 8 megapixel camera.
The iPhone 5 should be out sometime in October.
