'iZombie' Season 2 Midseason Finale Spoilers: Blaine Makes An Impossible Request
The CW's hit drama TV series, "iZombie" Season 2 is now getting ready to take its break for the holidays. But before the popular zombie show temporarily closes its curtains, it has yet to reveal some shocking developments that will surely impact the course of the story when it returns next year.
The trailer for the upcoming episode titled "Cape Town," reveals that Liv (Rose McIver) and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) will be getting a visit from a very unlikely person - Blaine (David Anders). Together with his crew, the people from Shady Plots Funerary helped themselves inside the King County Medical Examiner's Office.
Although Blaine and his men aren't there to fight or cause trouble, in a way, their purpose for visiting could put the medical examiner in a very tight spot. As revealed by the male undead, he wants Liv's help in transforming a dying man into a zombie like her.
A bold request, but Blaine will ultimately make Liv consider the proposition. It appears that Blaine will give Liv what she had long been looking for in exchange for the favor.
"Scratch him, and you will have hope of a cure," Blaine tells Liv.
Will she give in to the request?
In her recent interview with the people from IGN.com, McIver said that although her character clearly doesn't trust Blaine, there will be some situations that might put her in the same league with the enemy.
"She knows that he has the capacity to kill people in cold blood and she has been personally hurt by decisions that she's made. She doesn't trust him at all. But she knows, for the greater good, for them to be able to find a cure, she needs him," the actress told the publication.
Meanwhile, the synopsis from The Futon Critic went on to give hints about the case that Liv and Det. Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) will be tackling. According to the summary, the duo will try to solve the murder case of a teacher who dons a mask at night to become a crime-fighting vigilante named "The Fog."
As expected, Liv will take on the personality of the victim, making her become a little bit more heroic in her ways.
