'James Bond 24: Spectre' News: Bond's Backstory, New Vlog Features Bond Girls (VIDEO)
The upcoming 24th Bond film, "Spectre", will focus on the mystery of 007's backstory, with the film's website releasing a clip featuring the new Bond girls in the film.
"Spectre," the new James Bond 007 spy thriller expected to hit theaters in the fall, has revealed a few firsts about the franchise, including the oldest Bond "girl" and a closer look into Bond's history.
A vlog featuring the new Bond co-stars has been released recently, depicting Italian actress Monica Bellucci as the oldest Bond "girl" to date. Bellucci, who previously appeared in "The Matrix Reloaded," has insisted on being called "Bond Woman" by reason of her advanced age (she is turning 51 next month). Bellucci plays the role of a deceased Mafia boss' widow in "Spectre."

The short clip also introduces French actress, Lea Seydoux ("Blue is the Warmest Color"), who is better known as the female villain Paula Patton's character throws out a Burj Khalifa window in 2011's "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol." Seydoux plays a doctor in "Spectre."
The vlog came with "Spectre's" official synopsis, stating Bond (Daniel Craig) is set to uncover the secrets of his childhood, and its connection to the ominous organization known as Spectre, of whom villain Franz Oberhauser (Christoph Waltz) is a member.
The movie will take audiences from Mexico all the way to Austria and Morocco as James Bond operates outside the authority of MI6 to unravel a conspiracy that threatens the agency and himself.
Craig, who is reportedly playing his last installment as 007, will be joined by Waltz, Bellucci, and Seydoux, as well as returning actors, Ralph Fiennes as Gareth "M" Mallory, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, and Ben Whishaw as MI6 quartermaster, "Q."
"Spectre," directed by Sam Mendes for Metro Goldwyn Meyer and Columbia Pictures, is due to premiere in UK theaters on October 26. It will be released in the U.S. on November 6.
