'Jane the Virgin' Season 2 Spoilers: More Family Troubles
After the return of the hit series "Jane the Virgin," fans can expect that the episode to come will be filled with more drama for Jane and her family.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the creator of the series, Jennie Snyder Urman, recently shared some interesting details about what the upcoming episodes will hold for Jane, played by Gina Rodriguez, and her family.
It was reported that Jane's life will not be short of problems as she tries to balance her responsibilities as a new mother and a grad student. However, it was stated that she will also have to deal with her problematic love life. With that, fans can expect that Jane will be lacking sleep as she juggles all her responsibilities.

Urman stated, "She's going through sleep training. But because it's Jane, she experiences the magic realism of it all in a scene that connects a basketball sleep training session with some sleep center announcers." However, Jane's problems will not be the only focus for the episodes to come. The premiere of season 2 showed Jane's grandmother revealing some shocking news about Jane's grandfather. It was stated that Jane's father, Rogelio, played by Jaime Camil, will also deal with issues regarding his parents.
"It's not the peculiarity of his father's coming-out story that's hurtful to him, it's the fact that his parent's marriage is crumbling and he didn't know that any of this was going on. So he has emotional things to unpack, and so does Rita," Urman revealed.
In addition, Petra, played by Yael Grobglas, will also have some issues of her own regarding her pregnancy. Urman reassured fans that Petra will be giving birth later into the season.
However, she did not share much regarding who will be going through a marriage in the season to come. Previous reports had hinted at the fact that someone could get married in the upcoming season.
"Jane the Virgin" season 2 episode 9 is expected to air on Jan. 25.
