Jenelle Evans' Divorce Underway; Courtland Rogers Served With Papers
"Teen Mom 2" star Jenelle Evans is one step closer to being a free woman. Courtland Rogers, Evans' ex, was served with divorce papers on May 2 and the two already have a court date for next month, just weeks before her second child is due.
"Courtland was served with the paperwork," a source told Radar Online. "Jenelle doesn't want to be married to Courtland, she wants nothing to do with him."
Evans and Courtland had numerous issues during their marriage and were arrested in April 2013 for possession of heroin. They separated after their arrests, with Evans making bail and going free but Rogers remaining in prison due to an inability to make bail. She announced that she wanted to file for divorce back then, but due to North Carolina law, had to wait a full year before she actually could.

Since then, Evans met and is now in a serious relationship with Nathan Griffith, the father of her second child. The couple is expecting a baby boy due in late June, and they hope to get married soon after. Unfortunately, they have to wait until Evans' divorce is final before doing so.
"There is a court date set for June 2 to determine when a hearing can be held and then hopefully Jenelle can be divorced from Courtland before her baby is born, but she may not be," the source noted. "Jenelle wants to be free and not married to Courtland so she can marry Nathan."
Evans and Griffith have not always had a steady relationship; during this season of "Teen Mom 2," viewers watched them fight, Evans go to jail, and then the two try successfully for a child. It's expected that the pregnancy and birth will be filmed for the series, which has been renewed for an unprecedented sixth season by MTV.
Evans and Griffith each already have one child with previous partners.
