Jennifer Garner- 'FaceTime is a Must' in Marriage to Ben Affleck
Jennifer Garner divulged some secrets to her happy marriage to Ben Affleck during a live interview this week.
The "Draft Day" actress and Affleck will celebrate their 10-year wedding anniversary this June -- a rare occasion for Hollywood stars today whose marriages never seem to last. Shedding light on her successful marriage, Garner explained how she and Affleck manage three kids as well as their busy schedules, including many clever uses of technology.
"You can't go for too long without being together as a unit," Garner began while on "Good Morning America" on Wednesday.
The actress and Affleck two daughters and a son together; Violet, 8, and Serafina, 4, and two-year-old Samuel.
"FaceTime is a must time for us," Garner added. "I make pajamas for the kids with Ben's face on it that they sleep in. I put his voice in things … Like there's a teddy bear you can get where you can put the voice in the paw."
It comes as no surprise that it appears as though Affleck is the one spending most of the time away from their Los Angeles-area home. The actor and director is portraying Batman in the upcoming Superman-Batman film in 2016. Nevertheless, Garner said in another interview that Affleck is a "fun" dad.
"We are divided down a very mom-dad [line]," the actress said while on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night.
"If it has to do with making food, or homework, or anything that has to do with actually functioning … that's a mom thing," Garner continued. "Sorry. It's true. Then, coming in just as you're getting them into bed and picking them up by their heels and swinging them around, that's a dad thing. Anything fun, that is Ben."
Meanwhile, Garner is set to appear in three films this year; "Men, Women & Children," "Imagine," and "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day." Alternately, Affleck will star in this year's film "Gone Girl."
