Jennifer Lawrence's remarks on Kentucky Christian clerk Kim Davis are dumb, a Fox host said.
Hollywood A-list actor Jennifer Lawrence spoke to Vogue and said Kim Davis' refusal to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples makes her ashamed to be from Kentucky. Andrea Tantaros of Fox News' "Outnumbered" reacted and said the "Hunger Games" star's remarks are dumb, according to Politicus USA.
Davis previously made headlines when she was jailed for refusing to issue marriage licenses to gay couples. In what seemed like an attack on Christians, Lawrence brought up the clerk's decision to defy court orders, CNS News reports.

The top-paid Hollywood actress said Kim Davis' name should not be mentioned, and went on to explain her side.
"[She is a] lady who makes me embarrassed to be from Kentucky," CNS quotes Lawrence's statement to Vogue in an interview. "All those people holding their crucifixes, which may as well be pitchforks, thinking they're fighting the good fight."
Lawrence, who said she was raised as a Republican, slammed the party's lack of support for women's rights. She called out the GOP for choking women's rights to contraceptives, abortion, and health care.
The movie star, who is known to have a no-holds-barred attitude in expressing her opinion, also said the world would come to an end if Donald Trump won in the 2016 presidential elections, the report relays.
The "Hunger Games" star's opinion was not received lightly by Republicans. Tantaros reacted to the statement by saying she is ashamed to be a woman because of Lawrence's "idocy." The Fox host went as far as calling the actress' comments "dumb" and questioning the latter's First Amendment rights, the report details.
Talking to Stephen Hayes, Tantaros said Lawrence insulted a lot of people in her "rant." She then demanded to know what rights the actress does not have. In response, Hayes said she did have the right to speak her mind, but he urged her to remain mum if she does not have an "intelligent" opinion.
