Jennifer Williams 'Distraught,' Explains Reaching Out to Evelyn Lozada After Dispute
Jennifer Williams, Evelyn Lozada's best friend turned rival on VH1's "Basketball Wives," recently opened up about her decision to support her former close friend following a domestic dispute with NFL free agent Chad Johnson last month.
Although Williams and Lozada had a falling out on season four of "Basketball Wives," the women seemed to be willing to put aside their differences on the show's reunion. Williams recently told HipHollywood.com that she spoke with Lozada following the domestic dispute with Johnson last month where he allegedly headbutted her.
"She's trying to bounce back," Williams told the website.

Although Williams endured her own share of violence and verbal abuse from Lozada and her friend Nia Crooks on "Basketball Wives," she said learning of her former best friend's dispute left her distraught.
"I was very distraught to hear that," Jennifer told HipHollywood.com. "I think everyone knows I was a big advocate against violence, regardless of whether it was domestic violence or whether it was women fighting."
After the Aug. 11 domestic dispute between Lozada and Johnson made headlines, Williams was the first "Basketball Wives" co-star to take to Twitter to offer prayers and support.
"Sending my love... And keeping you in my prayers," Williams tweeted in a message that garnered over 300 re-tweets days after Lozada was allegedly headbutted.
The reality television star explained her reasoning for supporting Lozada despite the latter's violent behavior towards her on the reality television show where they both appeared for four seasons.
"I did reach out to her just because when things like that happen, you just put all the other BS to the side. I wouldn't want to see my worst enemy go through that," Williams told HipHollywood.com. "I don't agree with violence.... I don't think it's right whether it's on a TV show, or whether it's in Starbucks or whether it's in your home."
