Jenny McCarthy on 'The View,' Replacing Joy Behar?
Jenny McCarthy is considering joining "The View" as a permanent co-host, according to reports this week.
The former model has appeared as a guest on ABC's popular program, and will likely replace the departing co-host Joy Behar.
However, McCarthy already has her own television show on VH1 entitled "The Jenny McCarthy Show," and the model denied the latest television rumors.

"I can't cause I have my own show," McCarthy told Extra TV when asked about co-hosting "The View."
"Maybe someday in the future," she added.
Nevertheless, McCarthy divulged that she would be "helping them while they're looking" for someone to replace Behar.
Despite the 40-year-old's denial about a permanent post on "The View," a source close to McCarthy said she is "in serious talks" about the talk show.
"Her show isn't quite working out, so she's definitely open to it," said an insider speaking to Us Weekly.
Furthermore, McCarthy would add a new dynamic to the talk show that already features Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Whoopi Goldberg and Sherri Shepherd.
"The cast and crew get a kick out of Jenny," said a second source, according to Us Weekly. "She's a good fit."
Even though "The Jenny McCarthy Show" may not be a success, the show's star may be able to strengthen "The View."
"She may not be able to carry a show [on her own], but she works well with a group," the insider added.
Meanwhile, Behar announced her upcoming departure from "The View" in March. After 16 seasons with the show, Behar will finish its current season until its end in August.
"The View" is the fourth-longest running national daytime talk show in history and covers news items ranging from social and political issues to tabloid and celebrity news.
