'Jessica Jones' Season 2 Spoilers: Kilgrave Still Jessica's Problem

Fans of the new Netflix series "Jessica Jones" have been waiting for the series to return to the small screen.

While it was previously announced by Marvel that "Jessica Jones" will be receiving a second season, there has yet to be any detail regarding its release date. In addition, plot details of "Jessica Jones" season 2 have yet to be revealed.

However, the executive producer of the series, Melissa Rosenberg, recently shared some details regarding the season to come. It was revealed that "Jessica Jones" season 2 could have Jessica struggling with a villain that is more internal to her.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Rosenberg revealed, "I think it is a problem for her currently. It is certainly an element in her life. I don't know if I'm interested in taking on alcoholism, but then again, you don't know."

However, another villain will be a big part of Jessica's life in the upcoming season. Reports by Collider had Krysten Ritter revealing several details about the season to come. She explained that even though season 1 of "Jessica Jones" ended with Kilgrave's death, the mind controlling villain will be playing a major influence in her life.

Ritter stated, "For Jessica, that final victorious, triumphant moment when she kills Kilgrave, I found that very conflicting, in terms of her head space. He's the reason why she got up, every day. And I don't think that the past trauma just goes away with his death. So, her head space is really complex."

While there has yet to be any news confirming the season's release date, there have been speculations on when the series will release. "Jessica Jones" season 2 could be making its premiere on Netflix sometime in 2017 so fans have to wait a little bit longer.
