Jimmy Fallon, Nicole Kidman News: Pair Almost Dated, But Failed Date 'Bad'

Nicole Kidman made a guest appearance on "The Tonight Show" on Tuesday where she told host Jimmy Fallon that she actually wanted to date him once, if not for their failed first date.

During the show, Kidman and Fallon talked about their first meeting and realized they had very different views on what happened. Fallon talked about a mutual friend who invited Kidman to his apartment seven years ago. At the time, both of them were single and while Fallon was more worried about what type of cheese to serve, while Kidman was actually hoping for a date.

During the interview, Fallon stated that at the time he thought Kidman wanted to meet him for a part on "Bewitched."

"I don't know if you remember this, but we've met before," Fallon said.

"Oh, I remember," Kidman replied, before surprising Fallon by saying, "I just remember I liked you."

Fallon looked shocked and proceeded to look even more surprised and embarrassed as Kidman continued to recount the tale.

Apparently, Fallon was wearing a baseball cap when Kidman arrived, and didn't talk or say anything at all. He even put on a video game.

"I'm like, 'this is so bad.' It was bad," Kidman said.

At that point, Fallon jokingly collapsed behind his desk and Kidman continued to tell the audience that Fallon served her brie cheese, corn chips and leftover Chinese food.

"I left and went, okay, no chemistry," she added. "And then I went, maybe he's gay."

The pair laughed it off in the end though and proceeded to talk about other matters, such as Kidman's husband Keith Urban. However, there was still lingering tension between them which Kidman laughed off.

"We can't even have a conversation," she said.

Embarrassing first date aside, Kidman admitted that she and Urban often watched "The Tonight Show."

"Will I ever go on that show and bring that story up? Maybe not. And now I did," she said at the end.
