Joe Montana Son Practicing With Dad for NFL Draft 2013?
Joe Montana has done a lot to get his son exposure while playing college football. But since that isn't working out all too well, it appears that former NFL player may aim to get his son a shot at the NFL drafts instead.
The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback and NFL hall of famer was spotted on Monday practicing with his son, Nate Montana, 23. The pair was working out at a regional NFL combine at Cowboys Stadium in Texas. The 2013 NFL drafts begin on April 25 and run through the 27th. But Nate Montana has had a few shots at becoming a star and thus far, none have panned out.
The 6'4" quarterback has tried moving around a few times. He began his college career walking-on at Notre Dame as a freshman in 2008, transferred to Pasadena City College in 2009, went back to Notre Dame in 2010, transferred Montana in 2011, and to West Virginia Wesleyan in 2012.

Despite having a strong finish at Wesleyan though, analysts doubt that Nate has what it takes to go pro like his father.
"He's a great kid, his measurables are fine, but in terms of playing at the next level, his performance here was not very good," NFL.com analyst Bucky Brooks told NESN adding that Nate has "difficulty making pro throws."
Nate is Montana's third child, but his eldest son. During his college career, Montana has also struggled academically, which at times has cost him playing time.
The same fate might befall Montana's younger son, Nick. On the verge of turning 21, Nick began his college career at Washington State but has since moved to Tulane University. Joe Montana has two previous marriages but no other children aside from his two older daughters.
