JoJo Simmons Physically Forced to Apologize to Juelz Santana; Young Rapper Responds

JoJo Simmons, Reverend Run's oldest son and a rapper, was recently forced to apologize to fellow rapper Juelz Santana months after releasing a diss track about the latter titled "Holy Water."

Simmons, 23, was reportedly physically forced into apologizing to Santana by a member of his Skull Gang entourage named Hynief in Queens, N.Y., according to The Smoking Section reports. Hynief posted an Instagram image of Simmons being grabbed by his shirt collar while apologizing on a cell phone.

"Guess who I caught y'all Lil punk (expletive) Jo Jo that made the diss track look at his face when he ace," the caption on the Instagram message read. "#facts Shouldn't pop (expletive) if u not bout that life real (expletive) don't care who u related too (expletive) [sic]."

Simmons spoke to Crave TV about the incident recently.

"I ain't got no comments towards it. I'm not really into the violence," he told Crave TV. "I'm not really into the thug life. I'm not gonna talk no (expletive). I grew up a very good kid."

Simmons admitted that he was used to living a privileged life.

"All I've been around was money all my life. I ain't been around that thug (expletive) or that gun (expletive), so that's not what I do," Simmons told Crave TV. "What I do is I count money … I travel the world. That's all I do. I'm not on that violence (expletive) at the end of the day."

The 23-year-old son of Rev Run initially sounded off on Santana for naming him on a mixtape called God Willin' last February.

"How you gonna mention my uncle Russell then disrespect his nephew / the industry forgot you (expletive) you're nothing special," Simmons rhymed on the diss record. "Like Jigga they can't knock the hustle, these (expletives) hate to love you / Simmons will not let you."

Simmons' recent release came on the heels of Santana's release of the song "Soft" where he rhymes, "My diamonds be shinin' like a snow globe I'm so froze / Far as that dough goes I'm Russell Simmons (you're) JoJo."

After hearing Simmons' release, Santana took to Twitter to laugh it off.

"Have I just been punked?? Where's Ashton," Santana tweeted. "Kill yaself shorty!! @RevRunWisdom lil Goofball."
