Joseph Randle Arrested Latest News: Ex-Cowboys RB Arrested Once Again for Battery and Drug Charges

Joseph Randle's football career is all but over, and now it looks like his life is going down as fast as his career in the NFL was. After several incidents with the police, the 24-year-old former Dallas Cowboys running back has been arrested once again, his fifth in a span of 17 months.

According to multiple reports, Randle was booked in a Kansas jail (Sedgwick County) on Sunday because of the charges filed against him, including aggravated battery and criminal damage to property, and the possession of marijuana and hallucinogens.

This isn't the first or second or third time for the troubled player to have a run-in with the law. A couple of weeks ago, he was arrested based on an existing warrant in Irving, Texas, where he, according to police, went to an ex-girlfriend's house at about 3 a.m. Neighbors and residents of the home persuaded him to leave but he didn't, prompting them to call the police. It was during the stop when the outstanding warrant was revealed.

In November of last year, he got arrested and booked on suspicions of criminal threat, battery, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and assault of a law enforcement officer, all of which sprung out of an altercation in a casino in Kansas.

But the most publicized of all his run-ins with the law happened in October of 2014 when he got detained for allegedly shoplifting in a Dallas mall, where police claimed he tried to steal a pack of underwear and a bottle of perfume.

But the reason why the Cowboys dismissed him wasn't the off-field police encounters and arrests; instead, it was all about his alleged involvement in sports gambling, though he vehemently denied he participated in it. In this latest incident, responding policemen found out that the former running back actually tried to hit three individuals using his vehicle and that he even tried to chase one of them into their home.
