Justin Bieber on Selena Gomez: 'I Don't Want Her to Feel I'm Ashamed'

Justin Bieber and Oprah Winfrey recently announced that they would be joining forces on "Oprah's Next Chapter" in November, and now a preview of their conversation about his girlfriend Selena Gomez has leaked.

Winfrey, 58-year-old media proprietor, debuted a clip of her interview with Bieber on ABC's "Good Morning America" recently. In the clip the 18-year-old Canadian singer spoke about his 20-year-old entertainer girlfriend and how hard it is to avoid paparazzi with her.

However, Bieber said he is not like other entertainers who like to keep their girlfriends too far behind.

"Sometimes... sometimes we gotta to take the back exits and do different things, but I never make her separate from me cause I don't want her to feel like I'm ashamed of her," the singer said in the clip of the interview that will air on OWN on Nov 25. "I feel like a lot of guys do that – especially in the business. They don't want to be seen with their girl so they'll make them ride in separate cars and do all that 'getaway' stuff."

However, the singer told Winfrey that he plans on making his escapes with Gomez so that, "when we get away, we're getting away together."

Winfrey told the GMA cast that the interview will air in over 100 countries and be her first "Oprah's Next Chapter" episode to be broadcast globally.

"It's the biggest thing I've done since Michael Jackson in 1993," Winfrey revealed.

While the media maven admitted that Bieber has never done such an in-depth interview in his career, the singer hasn't exactly been shy about sharing details about his relationship with Gomez.

Earlier this year, Bieber spoke with Radio Disney's "Celebrity Take with Jake" about Gomez's love for him, indicating that it reflects 1 Corinthians 13:4 in the Bible that states: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud."

"I'm loving and patient and kind and gentle," Bieber said.
