JWoww, Snooki Fight Neighbors Protesting Their Show: I'll 'Pray' for Them, Says Snooki (VIDEO)

Snooki says she will pray for those neighbors who have started a protest against MTV filming her reality show spinoff near their homes.

Now in its third season, residents living near the area where "Snooki and JWoww" is filmed have raised complaints stating that the show is disruptive to the neighborhood. Nearly a dozen neighbors joined forces recently and charged the two girls with using their Pelican Island for a business purpose.

"This is in a residential zone and use of it is very restrictive," attorney Ron Gasirowski told the Asbury Park Press.

But Snooki appears outraged over the accusations. She has charged that those who have filed complaint are being immature and discriminating against both her and her son.

"Adults are trying to ban my son, fiance and I from enjoying our summer at the shore," Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, wrote on her Twitter account Sunday referencing an article about neighbor's complaints. "Grow up, get over yourself and move on."

"This is not how we should be treating one another," she continued. "Absolutely sick and very sad. I pray for you. There's much bigger things to worry about in life than trying to ban my family from your neighborhood."

Jenni Farley, also known as JWow, appeared to take the criticism in stride.

"Laughing so hard over these reports @snooki ... Who would've thought 2 girls can piss so many people off #embracethehaters," she wrote on her Twitter.

In three seasons, this is the first season that the show has been taped at Pelican Island. It was previously taped in Jersey City and last summer at the girls' homes in Toms River and Hanover.

The "Jersey Shore" frequently earned a bad reputation for rowdy behavior in residential areas and near businesses. But in a second tweet about her new show Polizzi wrote, "this is not the Jersey Shore."
