Kate Hudson Dating J.J. Watt? Football Star Claims He's #Single After Being Spotted on Rumored Dinner Date with Actress
After fans found out that Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt had been on what appeared to be a dinner date with "Bride Wars" actress Kate Hudson on Monday, April 11, the pro football player took to Twitter to deny rumors that he is dating the Hollywood star.
On Monday, Hudson and Watt seemed to be on a candlelit dinner "date," as evidenced by Hudson's Snapchat of the two.
The "Something Borrowed" actress posted a Snapchat in which she and the NFL star were having fun with the Snapchat filter that puts stars around people's heads. In the clip, when the filter doesn't work for him, Watt says: "Apparently the stars belong to the hottest person on the date.That's why Kate wins."

Since splitting from Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, the father of her son Bingham, in 2014, Hudson has been linked to singer/actor Nick Jonas. Watt, on the other hand, was reported to have been dating tennis star Caroline Wozniacki and was also rumored to have been seeing mixed martial artist Paige VanZant.
In September 2015, Watt told NFL.com that his training schedule keeps him from dating like other 27-year-olds. "People [I know] think that I've never dated before, or whatever," the AP NFL Defensive Player of the Year awardee said. "But I'm trying. I'm trying. I'm just unsuccessful. My schedule's so crazy and life's busy, it just hasn't worked."
Nevertheless, Watt has often referred to his "lifelong crush" on "Friends" alum Jennifer Aniston and has said that he was "heartbroken" when the actress got married. Now, it seems that the football star has added another actress to his list of celebrity crushes.
But is he dating Hudson or not?
On Thursday, April 14, Watt tweeted "That's L.A. #Single" in response to a fan who asked if he went from "single to dating two different blondes in 24 hours."
