Kate Middleton Wows at Prince William's Knighting Ceremony

Kate Middleton has made headlines yet again after she watched her husband Prince William become a knight on Thursday.

The Duchess of Cambridge watched as the Duke was officially installed as a member of the Order of the Thistle in Scotland. His grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, bestowed the highest honor to the 30-year-old around the time of his birthday last month.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a soft yellow coat as homage to her Scottish title as the Countess of Strathearn. The coat dress was custom-made by Emilia Wickstead, and Middleton paired it with a scarf decorated in the classic Strathearn pattern.

Kate was all smiles during the grand ceremony, which took place at St. Giles Cathedral in Scotland's capital Edinburgh. The festivities were kicked off with a pipe band as members of the royal family arrived, including other knights.

William, like other knights including the queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, wore a decorated dark green velvet cloak embellished with a matching heat with an ostrich feather atop it.

The Duke of Cambridge was already spotted wearing his Order of the Thistle medal on his Colonel of the Irish Guards uniform at events earlier this summer.

The knighting ceremony marks William's second; he was invested in the Order of the Garter at Windsor Castle in 2008.

Just one day before the knighting ceremony, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were spotted at Wimbledon watching British tennis player Andy Murray reach the semifinals.

Married a little more than a year, the royal couple is constantly rumored to be starting a family. Most recently, reports claim that Middleton has named picked out for a baby girl.

Additionally, Queen Elizabeth II is reportedly pressuring the couple to have an heir to the throne.
