Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx Dancing in The Hamptons: 'They're Not Dating,' Rep Insists (VIDEO)
Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are not dating, despite reports claiming otherwise, and a rep for the actress appeared to confirm that the actress is single.
The "Miss Meadows" star, 34, was captured on video dancing with Foxx, 45, at Ron Perelman's Apollo in the East Hamptons benefit on Saturday which set tongues wagging. The pair danced to Robin Thicke's hit song "Blurred Lines" and showed affection however they are reportedly not romantically involved.
"They're not dating. They've been friends for years," Holmes' rep told the New York Post's Page Six.

The Hollywood stars were amongst other big names including Lenny Kravitz, Colin Powell, Pharrell Williams, the Roots, Ciara and Ellen DeGeneres who also attended the star-studded benefit. At one point Holmes and Foxx reportedly showed affection while dancing to Robin Thicke's hit song "Blurred Lines," however the rep insists that the single mom is just good friends with the "Django Unchained" star.
"I haven't had such a good time in so long," Holmes was quoted as telling two female friends at the benefit.
In June 2012, Holmes filed for divorce from actor Tom Cruise, 50, after six years of marriage and while the actress is reportedly ready to begin dating again, she has reportedly sworn off actors. Foxx and Cruise are also believed to be good friends.
"Katie doesn't want to tie herself down just yet, but she says she's done going out with actors," a source previously told RadarOnline.com.
"Her previous relationships with Joshua (Jackson), Chris (Klein) and Tom (Cruise) didn't work out, so she thinks she should look away from her own profession," the source continued.
In January the fashion designer was linked to actor Jake Gyllenhaal, although her rep denied the pair was more than friends. She has reportedly been socializing and meeting people in recent months, although she has not yet met anyone serious.
"Jeanne Yang, her business partner for the Holmes & Yang fashion label, has taken Katie to some art gallery openings recently," the source said previously adding, "she's met tons of interesting artists."
