Katie Holmes on Jimmy Fallon: Happy in First Post-Divorce TV Interview (VIDEO)

Katie Holmes was in good spirits during an appearance on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" Thursday, and the actress revealed that she is open to starring in a "Dawson's Creek" reunion.

The 33-year-old "Dead Accounts" star was relaxed and happy throughout the segment, despite it being her first post-divorce TV interview. She spoke about her latest acting gig and having slight reservations about a "Dawson's Creek" reunion.

"We have kind of talked about it here and there but we're like 'what do you do' because our last episode Michelle [Williams'] character passed away," Holmes said with reference to the character known as "Jen."

In September, actor Joshua Jackson, who played Pacey in the popular TV series, revealed that Holmes had contacted him to catch up shortly after her divorce from Cruise, 50, was finalized. She had reportedly been interested in the possibility of a show reunion during her marriage to Cruise, although the actor allegedly shot down the idea.

"[Producers] were begging her to sign on for a reunion movie. Tom said absolutely no way and thought going backward would be bad," a source previously told Us Weekly Magazine.

Holmes has since taken a strong hold of her career and the actress recently threw herself back into work after finalizing her divorce in August. She is starring in "Dead Accounts" and is also set to star in the film "Responsible Adults" with actor Chase Crawford.

"It's great! I'm so excited to be back on Broadway and you know I had such a good time doing 'All My Sons' ... I love the Broadway community so much," Holmes told Fallon. "They're so supportive ... everyone's supportive of each other so I'm having a great time."

Holmes, who was awarded primary custody of her and Cruise's 6-year-old daughter Suri in their divorce, is said to be at peace with her decision to leave Cruise after six years of marriage.

"She's living the life she's meant to live. She's a girl from Ohio who had a crush on Tom Cruise, had that come to life, was swept off her feet and realized in the end, it wasn't who she really is," a source reportedly told Fox News. "The best thing that happened was Suri."
