Katy Perry Ballot Dress Creatively Endorses President Obama (VIDEO)
Katy Perry combined fashion and politics during an Obama rally in the lead up to the 2012 Presidential election, as the singer donned a ballot themed dress much to the delight of the large crowd.
The 28-year-old wore a fitted white mini dress which was designed to resemble an election ballot; a box opposite the names Barack Obama and Joe Biden was checked while Mitt Romney's was intentionally left blank.
Perry gave a 30-minute free mini concert prior to Obama's arrival at the Las Vegas event, which attracted more than 13,000 people. She opened with a rendition of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together," and played a total of five songs, including "Teenage Dream," before ending it off with her smash hit "Firework," according to the New York Daily News.

"Don't wait, go tomorrow! How many of you guys are 18 in here? Let's do this tomorrow. You know I got my poll outfit sorted, ok," Perry told the roaring crowd before promising to wear red, white and blue while she votes "for you know who" on Election Day.
Obama later arrived on stage and addressed the crowd after thanking the pop star who he described as being a "wonderful young lady."
"I believe in you. I need you to keep believing in me," Obama told the audience, according to The Associated Press. "Now it's up to you, Nevada, right here, right now, today."
Obama evidently won over Perry's 91-year-old grandmother Ann as she reportedly planted a kiss on his cheek during a backstage meeting, smearing lipstick all over the Commander-in-Chief.
"Fortunately somebody wiped it off before Michelle saw it," Obama said jokingly.
Perry is among a growing number of Hollywood A-listers who have openly endorsed President Obama, including Beyonce and Jay-Z, Eva Longoria, Scarlett Johansson and Angelina Jolie.
