Clarkson also showed off a photo of her ring, which had a square cut surrounded by diamonds and a canary shaded diamond in the center. Clarkson, who is famous for songs like "Stronger" and "Miss Independent" has changed her tune since becoming involved with Blackstock. The singer even suggested at some point that her budding relationship was ruining her music career.

"It is killing me. I'm trying to write a tough song and it is coming out like butterflies and rainbows," Clarkson told People magazine in June. The singer also joked that it was "ruining" her creativity because she kept writing "about all this happy stuff."

The stepson of Reba McEntire and son of Clarkson's manager Narvel Blackstock, Clarkson's fiancé is also in the music business which has made things easier on the couple, according to the singer.

"One of my favorite things is we're both in the business," Clarkson told People magazine in August. "He gets my job and he gets how busy it can get, and he gets the sacrifices that we both have to make with our jobs."

Clarkson admitted at the time that she was in love, which made her care less about what other people think. But fans may not want to expect a big wedding. Last month while talking with Ellen, Clarkson admitted that she wasn't really the wedding planner type.

"Honestly, I've never been the girl to plan a wedding," she added. "We will totally, probably elope."
