Kevin Sorbo Calls Hollywood Establishment the 'Least Tolerant'
A notable actor in film and television has stated that the Hollywood entertainment industry is full of the "least tolerant people" in the country.
Kevin Sorbo, star of television programs like "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" and "Andromeda," recently told the hosts of "Fox & Friends" about the climate of Hollywood.
"I certainly get into trouble in Hollywood for the some of the things I say but I am one of the true independent voices in Hollywood," said Sorbo. "I look at both sides of the aisle, look at who's going to really help this country … things aren't going that great right now. I think that's very obvious to most people."

When Brian Kilmeade of F&F asked Sorbo about whether or not his viewpoints had interfered with his employment opportunities, Sorbo spoke about the tolerance issue and Hollywood.
"I mean it's kind of weird, it's just you know, Hollywood screams tolerance but they are probably the least tolerant people you'll ever meet. It's strange to me," said Sorbo, who mentioned being someone who has voted for candidates on "both sides of the political aisle my entire life."
Sorbo also talked about his experiences at a Billy Graham Crusade event that took place near his childhood home in Minnesota when he was 13.
"I've always been a Christian, I've always grown up in the church world. My parents were very strict Lutherans and we went there as a field trip for our church," said Sorbo.
"I was just blown away that night. I was blown away by what he had to say to 60,000 people there and I went out and spoke with some of his, you know, helpers at the end of it."
Sorbo has kept himself busy as of late, with roles in several films going into post-production for 2013, including "The Whole Banana," "Persecuted," "A Matter of Time," and "Crowing Lakes."
Also Sorbo's memoir, titled True Strength: My Journey from Hercules to Mere Mortal – and How Nearly Dying Saved My Life, was released in paperback a few months ago.
The memoir focuses on a series of health problems he suffered in 1997, which included an aneurysm and three strokes that hit him while he was in his 30s.
"On television, Kevin Sorbo portrayed an invincible demigod; in his real life, a sudden health crisis left him partially blind and incapacitated at just thirty-eight years old," reads the description on Amazon.com.
