Khloe Kardashian Eats 400 Calories A Day to Maintain Weight Loss?

Khloe Kardashian wowed fans last year with her 30-pound weight loss, but a new report claims the socialite may be going to extremes to maintain her physique.

Kardashian, who is in the midst of a divorce, reportedly consumes 400 calories per day as part of a strict diet and friends and family are said to be growing concerned. The reality TV star filed for divorce from NBA star Lamar Odom in December and the breakdown of their four-year marriage appears to be taking a toll on Kardashian.

"Khloe's doing morning fasting and doesn't eat a single thing until around 2 p.m.," a source told Heat magazine.

"She only has a small piece of chicken or a can of tuna and steamed veggies for lunch, snacking on celery until dinner when she has a protein shake and more vegetables," the source revealed.

Last year the E! star completed a 60-day fitness challenge with her younger brother Rob and the results were exceptional. At the time Kardashian told Life & Style magazine that working out "at least four to five days a week" helped her achieve substantial weight loss, but now friends reportedly fear she may have taken her weight loss regime too far.

"Everyone in her life is begging her to eat more, but Khloe is refusing," the source said.

"She's not in a good place. Her self-esteem took such a hit when she broke up with Lamar," the source added.

In August the estranged couple separated in the wake of cheating allegations and they have reportedly since moved out of their marital home to start new lives. Despite her failed marriage, Kardashian insisted that she is doing well.

"I love the new year, new beginnings. I need a good fresh start; I'm excited for this year to be over with," Kardashian told Cosmopolitan U.K. late last year.

"You only live once so let's make that one time perfect. We can't fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let's have fun. You get what you give out in life," she explained.
